When we were home a few weeks ago, my parents gave me this photo. They want me to put it on my photography site to show me and my first camera. This was taken in August 1986, when I was 6 years old. My sister, Catherine, is 2.5 years old.
My parents said all of their friends were shocked that they had given me a camera because I was so young. But they wanted to give it to me. It was a Fisher Price camera. Notice how my sister and I were both wearing watermelon outfits, cute huh?
Have a good weekend. We have friends coming over for dinner tonight, and then tomorrow I am going to go to the Earth Day celebration here in Durham and hopefully do some cleaning, throwing away in the house. Maybe I will take some pretty pictures too.
